The twenty second night of the Omer is represented by Chesed of Netzach; the idea that for something to last it has to have some type of support. In this case, Chesed, love, is the support. It’s one thing to help someone out in their time of need, that’s simply Chesed. Sometimes though, we are not on such a high level and when we help someone else we may do it for the wrong reasons. But going that extra mile to support someone and help them really get up is Chesed of Netzach, we could never do that for any other reason but love for the other person since there is so much effort involved. There are plenty of ways to support each other, yet most of the time they are not strong enough to keep people up. But through real love we can each support one another and make it last.
